  • Anesthesia complications may also happen during the procedure, it could be a negative reaction or an allergic reaction.
  • Loss of sensitivity in your breasts, particularly the nipples.
  • Over sensitivity of the breasts may also happen. Both loss and over sensitivity would greatly decrease sexual intimacy.
  • Capsular contracture may occur. In this, the capsule or the scar tissue forms around the implant, tightens and constrict the breast implant. This result to discomfort to severe pain, abnormal shape and size of the breast and unnaturally hard. To resolve this, removal of the scar tissues or even the implant is needed.
  • Abnormal cool breast if you have saline implants. Though this is safer than the silicone implants, saline gives an abnormal coolness compared to the real warm breast and to the silicone implants.

Now if you already have breast implants, these will likely give insufficient or no supply of milk to your baby. Nursing could also be very painful. It is best to have breast enlargement surgery after your last child.
